Suggestion
consider "are more than" instead of "aren't just nice to have" (cleaner and less emotional, and make the case for parks and rec better
Question
Explanation of Richmond 300? Folks might be confused as to why this city process led to the INSPIRE process
Suggestion
This is an important through line I hope through the plan- the three community takeaways

Suggestion
This vision statement could be placed earlier in the document where it is first referred to, and then re-highlighted throughout the document as reinforcement.

It is a GREAT statement worthy of repeating often to bring the point home
Suggestion
This is not a park. This is Shalom Farms, an "urban farm" and it is private property
Suggestion
This is not a park. This green area is private property of Laburnum Court Owners Corp. There are "no tresspassing" signs at all entrances.

If you believe this is a city park, please remove those signs.
Question
Is a "blueway trail" a paddle trail, a multi purpose trail along the canal, or both? Would there be any new access points for the Kanawha trail?
Suggestion
If you want to focus on accessibility (readability), don't use the term Natatorium, it's a pool!
Question
Scott's Addition is one of the densest and fastest growing areas in Richmond. It desperately needs a park, and the suitable parcels to do it are selling rapidly. The Proposed Opportunity project site has recently been closed off for private development (link what is the new plan to add green space given these developments?
Suggestion
This neighborhood is one of the densest and fastest growing in the city and has no green space, it desperately needs a park while land is still available. The block designated on this map has recently been closed off for private development (link). What is the alternative plan to bring much needed green space and parks to this area?
Is there a reason why the land purchased from Altria of which 45 acres+/- will be used to create a new signature park not shown on this map?
Suggestion
If focus groups are brought together again can the civic group leaders be brought together as one? This would allow for showcasing the work that’s being done and urging others on in high need areas
Question
What will be done for things in the middle. For instance at the Oak Grove Playground the soccer pitch donated by Lego was a great investment but now has grass growing up through it.

How can we ensure that as we invest its longevity is protected?
Question
Will the areas of high focus that also have small area plans have those taken into focus?
Suggestion
I’d like to know what districts the steering committees are from like a “(#)” behind the name to ensure that folks can’t really see there’s equitable representation
